In this palak puri recipe, I made a puree of the palak and added it into the wheat flour with some masala’s and made a dough. Then and made
Puri’s of this dough and deep fried it in an oil.

Because of this palak puree, it takes a green color which seems very nice
And because  I added some masalas into the dough that’s why it enhances the taste of the puri.
So let’s start the recipe,
Prep time: 10 minutes,
Cooking time: 20 minutes,
Total time: 30 minutes,
Servings: 10 puries,

Ingredients:

Palak leaves ½ bunch or 500 gm,
Wheat flour 2 cups,
Carom seeds or ajwain 2 teaspoons,
Red chili powder 1 teaspoon,
turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon,
Salt  1 teaspoon,
Oil to fry.

Instructions:

11. Take the palak leaves into the mixer jar and grind it into a fine puree.

  2. Take the wheat flour into a bowl and add masalas carom seeds, red chili powder, salt and turmeric powder to it.

  3.  Add palak puree into the flour.

  4.  Make a normal dough of it.

  5.  Make small balls of the dough.

  6.  Take one ball of the dough and sprinkle it with some flour.

  7.  Roll the puri of about 2 and ½ inches circle.

  8.  Take a kadhai on the gas and switch on the flame of the gas.
  9.  Add oil to the kadhai. Let heat up the oil.
110. Now put the puri into the hot oil and fry it on both the sides

  11. And take out it into a plate.
112. Make the same procedure for all other puries.
113. Serve this puri with yogurt or shrikhand.
