Instant rava idli

Instant rava idli or instant suji idli or semolina idli

Today we are making instant rava idli or suji idli or semolina idli. To make instant rava idli we need the secret ingredient here.

There is no need to soak the suji for so long to make idlis from suji. We have to soak it just for ½ an hour.

The secret ingredient here we are using is the fruit salt or we can call it as ENO.
Here ENO  and yogurt do the work of fermentation that’s why we do not need to ferment the batter here.
By making idlies like this method it gives a very good result as like of that fermented batter gives.
So let’s start the recipe,
Prep time: 35 minutes,
Cooking time: 20 minutes,
Total time: 55 to 60 minutes,
Servings: 12 idlies
Author: pritee Kadam.

Ingredients:

Semolina or suji 2 cups,
yogurt 1 cup,
salt as per taste,
citric acid or limbbusatva ¼ th teaspoon,
ENO 1 tablespoon,

       9. When you add ENO after that don’t add water in the batter otherwise your idlies will not become perfect.
     10. Whatever batters consistency you have to adjust do it before adding ENO in that doesn’t do it after adding ENO.
1    11. Switch on the gas flame and put idli stand on it and add 1 glass of water at the bottom of the mould.
